We just enjoyed several months of an exciting baseball season. Why should your kiddo sign up and play Fall Ball? We wanted to answer some of the questions we’ve received about Fall Ball in this quick post.

What is the benefit of Fall Ball?

If your kiddo had a great or good baseball season and they want to hone some skills over the Fall, Fall Ball is a great opportunity for them to do just that. Fall Ball is more mellow than the Spring season and kids are still encouraged to hone new fielding, batting and pitching skills, plus develop friendships and teamsmanship. We encourage children of any baseball skill level to join in on the fun!

What is the weekly commitment during the Fall season?

The commitment is a lot lighter than the Spring season. We hold one practice a weekly and one game on the weekend.

How long is Fall Ball?

Fall Ball will start in September and end in early November. Registration is open now and closes at Noon PT on Friday, August 19th.

Which division should I sign my child up for?

You should sign your child up for the age they will be in the Spring. If your child is 10 on August 31, 2023, they would most likely play in the Minors division. August 31 is the cut-off date for Little League age.

We look forward to hosting your child for another season of Fall Ball with the Twin Cities Little League. If you have any additional questions, you can reach out to Fall Ball Commissioner, Erik Brent, or Marketing Lead, Jen Ellard.
