TCLL All-Stars – 2026
Team Formation: At the end of the regular Little League season, All-Star teams are
named for the League Age 9’s, 10’s 11’s, Little League (12’s), Intermediate (13’s) and
Juniors (14’s) divisions. These teams represent Twin Cities Little League at the District
Tournament , and hopefully the Section and State level tournaments that run through
July. All-Stars candidates must be both eligible and available to play.
Player Eligibility: Eligible players come from Minors, Majors and Juniors and are
required to have played in at least 60% of the games of the current Spring TCLL
season.
Player Availability: All-Stars are expected to fulfill the obligations associated with this
honor, which include attending all mandated practices and tournament games Practices
and/or Batting Practices are generally run daily for the weeks leading up to games.
Each All-Star Manager will determine the practice schedule for their team. Parents of
prospective All-Stars Players will need to construct their summer vacation schedules
accordingly if they wish their child to be considered for the All-Star tournament.
Manager and Coach Selection Process: Managers wanting to manage an All-Star
team should communicate their interest to the Board through our Player Agent, Andy
Revell. The President, Player Agent, and Division Commissioner will review the
candidates and determine the best candidate for the position, before sending to the
Board of Directors for Approval. The selected Manager will select his/her supporting
Coaches with assistance from the Player Agent and Division Commissioner. To be
eligible to be the Manager or a Coach of an All-Star team you must be a Manager or
Coach during the regular season.
Player Selection Process:
The 12-Year Old All-Star Team will be selected as follows: Seven players are selected
from a confidential written vote of all Major League players, conducted by the Player
Agent; Four players are selected by a confidential written vote of the Major League
Managers conducted by the Player Agent; The remaining player(s) will be selected by
the All-Star Manager. The team will consist of a minimum of 12 players and the size will
be decided by the Player Agent in consultation with the 12’s All-Star Manager.
The 11-Year Old All-Star Team will be selected as follows: A confidential written vote of
the Major League Managers conducted by the Player Agent, assisted by the Major
League Commissioner. The team will consist of a minimum of 12 players, and the size
will be decided by the Player Agent in consultation with the 11’s All-Star Manager.
The 10-Year Old All-Star Team will be selected as follows: A confidential written vote of
the Minor League managers conducted by the Player Agent, the Minor League
Commissioner. The team will consist of a minimum of 12 players, and the size will be
decided by the Player Agent in consultation with the 10’s All-Star Manager.
The 9-Year Old All-Star Team will be selected as follows: A confidential written vote of
the Minor League managers conducted by the Player Agent, assisted by the Minor
League Commissioner. The team will consist of a minimum of 12 players and the size
will be decided by the Player Agent in consultation with the 9’s All-Star Manager.
Notification Process: The lists of those players who are selected for All-Stars is posted
on the All-Stars board at Joe Wagner Field, typically in late May. Families for the All-
Stars teams are also notified by the respective All-Star Manager, and the League will
send an announcement later in the day to the entire league, as well as post on social
media.
2026 Calendar: The calendar through the State tournament is below; if any dates
change, we will update this calendar immediately.
