Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

April 1, 2025, 7:30pm

Zoom Format

Present: Mike Boland, Andy Revell, Mark Vaughn, Christine Golyn, Seth Leibick, AJ Rea, Anjuli Marotto, Joe Crane, Jenn Ellard, Ross Murray, Jon Weinberg, Blake Schaefer, Matt Boland, Danny Searle

 

 

Presidents report:

  • Double elimination still being discussed at presidents meeting for All Star tournament. Further discussion at the next meeting on April 16th. Nancy Miller will make the final decision.

 

Opening Day Feedback:

  • Mixed emotions on new format
  • Further discussion will be had at future board meetings to discuss the possibility of further conversations with Corte Madera police.
  • Ceremony length discussed.
  • Moving forward we will also discuss contingency plans for bad weather.
  • Overall feedback from the community/Board was that a walking parade (although not as ideal as a truck parade) was fine. Ideally the parade, future state, would go down Magnolia Avenue.

 

 

Division reports:

  • Minor A parent meeting occurred and provided some great feedback for the board moving forward.
  • Need to stay off Kirby field before 5pm on weekdays.
  • Potentially hosting an end of season team parent meeting to provide feedback being discussed. Also discussing an end-of-year survey as well.

 

 

Scheduling update:

  • Discussions had with the new leadership group of corte Madera rec. and their current policy around field closures.
  • Board recommends a conversation with the CM leadership group around having more of a say in the closure of the baseball portion of Cove and TP heading into next year.
