Q: Why do we have to use Sports Connect for registration?

A: Starting this season, US Little League requires all member leagues to standardize registration on Sports Connect

 

Q: What about TeamSnap?

A: Many of you also use TeamSnap for TCLL and other sports. To make things easier, we’ll use both platforms in the 2025 season: initial registration will be done through Sports Connect, while team assignments, schedules, and communications will stay on TeamSnap.

 

Q: How long will the registration process take?

A:  For some, it was as short as 5 minutes. For others, the process took up to 15. Here are some considerations:

  • You may have an existing Sports Connect account from Next Level or another sport. That will expedite things, even if you need to recover your password.
  • If you choose to volunteer this season, you must register as a volunteer and provide an ID.

 

Q: What about the Proof of Residency and School Enrollment forms again?

A: Skip these. They are not required. If we could remove them, we would, but US Little League requires these to remain on the form as optional fields.

 

Q: Can my spouse or partner register my player and add me as a volunteer?

A:  Absolutely. They will enter your contact information, and you will receive a separate email prompting you to register as a volunteer

 

Q: I was prompted to select a specific Division (Tee, Farm, Rookie, Minors, Majors, Jrs). Does that mean my child is locked into that Division?

A: Your child will be initially assigned to a division based on Little League age guidelines. However, this isn’t final. We may reassign players to different divisions to support their development or ensure balanced competition. Additionally, some younger divisions may be restructured to enhance player growth.

 

Q: What if I register one child and a second child at some point in the future? Will the sibling discount still apply?

A: Yes, the $100 discount will be applied to the second registration
