Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Present: Mike Boland, Matt Boland, Blake Schaefer, Jenn Ellard, Anjuli Marotto, Andy Revell, Danny Searle, AJ Rea, Jon Stone, Joe Crane, Ross Murray,  Seth Leibick, Brent Baker, and Mark Vaughn

Approval of Minutes from September 16th meeting- Approved

Treasurer’s Report–

  • New treasure, Christine, will send budget before November 4th meeting

President’s Report-

  • Next district president’s meeting was held on October 10th
  • October 1st is start of little league national
  • Sportsconnect is now little league national registration provider
  • Little league age stays at August 31
  • District 3 received sectional tournament for 11- or 12-year-olds
  • Joe Wagner needs maintenance, janitorial, and grounds crew.  Addition of these costs will be discussed at future board meeting

Old Business-

  • Anjuli Marotto welcomed to the board and motion passes to add as team parent
  • Report from restructuring committee discussed. Subsequent conversations to be had at Nov 4th board meeting before any decisions are made

New Business-

  • Player eligibility- Any child from 4-7 can now register in any league they choose. Need to declare before age 8.  Can potentially bring older siblings with them.  Discussion had to recommend these players stay within their little league boundaries.
  • Player evaluations in January.  Considering booking indoor facility due to inclement weather.
