Motion of Minutes to Approve from January Board meeting – Approved

President Report:

  • Started the Snack Shack Project
  • Discussion around Finding specific sponsors for field improvements, agreed to defer until capital expenditure.
  • Majors Fence project approved but deferred until August (between sectionals and fall ball), address in June.
  • Grounds Crew Day – get volunteers to help weed and get the field ready for opening day, focus on Joe Wagner, check lines to see if we need for Joe Wag.

New Business:

Opening Day Planning

  • March 14th – Walking Parade – 7:30am arrival – 8am departure – 8:30 arrival at Joe Wagner
  • Softball Goes First
  • Concern over number of little sluggers and number of TBall players- Anjuli and Matt to determine what we did last year.
  • Fix Joe Wag speakers – Potential Sponsor?
  • Possible rental for PA and Mic

Picture Day 3/21 – 3/22 

Divisional Updates:

Juniors – 32 kids – two teams – Joe Della Cella and Ted Meyer Junior are coaches.

Majors – 6 teams of 11 – off and running – Bryce a big help.

Minors – 7 teams, 5 of 12, 2 of 11.

Minor A – 4 teams, 12 kids per team, moving to machine pitch with hack a tack.

Rookie – 60 kids

Farm – 75 Kids

T-Ball – 6 teams, 4 managers – 2 more managers needed.

Little Sluggers – need 2 more managers – Sundays 9-1 45-minute sessions – broader email to be sent – guide for what to do.

Scholarship donation link – school fundraisers – donate to pre-school for auction – little sluggers or tee ball – donation – certificate – unique code for scholarship to – spark – expiration end of day – 2-year expiration.
